Cain Contracting, Inc. Additionally provides Demolition and Environmental Services including asbestos abatement and removal, lead stabilization and encapsulation, mold remediation, building decontamination, PCB / Mercury remediation, interior and mass demolition, as well as industrial hygienist services. Using staff personnel, Cain Contracting can self-perform most demolition and environmental abatement lending an added measure of control to projects requiring these services.

The firm was established in April 2000, became SBA 8(a) certified in July 2002, and won its first contract in August 2003. Since that time, Cain Contracting has experienced significant growth. 2003 revenues increased by 38% over the previous year; and in the first six months of 2004, by 36%  over 2003 figures.

Although Cain Contracting is a young company, its principals have an average of more than 23 years of construction experience per person, and through their diverse employment backgrounds, understand the construction industry from several different perspectives.

Andra Cain, President, held executive operations management positions at Carrier Corporation, a billion dollar a year global business specializing in HVAC equipment and refrigeration.

Douglas Lasure, Vice President, knows government contracting from both perspectives, having served as a U.S. Air Force Contracting Officer for Construction as well as a Contracts Manager for several private general contractors doing business with the Federal government.
